wait a sec. it's almost legit...subaru, right?, had that weird little two door, two seater with the bed. Most of them were YELLOW and looked like a modern camino. I forget the name...

it's just sick cuz it's mustang meets truck. and the bumper is SUPER high compared to the rest. it def needs to be a low-riding rig and maybe use one of the newer gen mustangs. it would make the front closer to the ground without looking weird.

eww...wtf ford? who are they targeting with this crap? as far as I know there's really almost no market for something like this. haha, I like your bottom sig quote, it fits perfect. He must have had a wrecked ranger front and torn up mustang rear and thought it was grand. NOT.

Actually this is something I have been pondering doing to my rig. I just need the time and motivation to do it.

yeah, I catch myself reading threads and thinking halfway through, you know you aren't interested and won't be able to use any of the info, etc. sometimes I keep reading tho. I'm just like that I guess.

Gibsondale, you need to post up a pic of whatever you're describing. I can't really picture what all is going on there.

Really? No market? That could explain why when I go to mexico I see all sorts of those types of vehicles running around.

I just think its funny that you think ford would spend millions designing a vehicle that there is no market for....

I think the only think that really, Bugs me about this truck is the space in the grill for the mustang emblem, at least just put the Ford Oval or something.

All in all the truck is different for sure, i wouldn't bu or do it, but that mustang emblem space is the only thing that really Bugs me, my eys just draws to it...

again, most of the people on the forum are from the US or Canada. The UTE would FLOP in US markets. They're cheap to make and profitable elsewhere. but NOT here. That's like the Chevy SSR, horrible design, they don't make it anymore, it's a FLOP! Need I say more?

el camino's rock, although I doubt they'll ever bring it back.

EDIT>>>

okay, so speaking of opinions...The UTE not only has a huge market in other countries, but similar designed vehicles are made by other manufacturers. They come with all different size engine options, I've even seen these with v-8's. I don't care what options you put in mine I still wouldn't buy one. It also reminds me of something like the bed of a present day f150 attached to the likings of a ford focus. It just doesn't work, especially in america with people who need a backseat for their kids, etc.

now as far as the muskrat goes, the red mustranger, (and my skills for this are poor with paint...so forgive me; and anyone else who wants to make it look bangin, go for it) would have looked a million times better if he would lower it. and don't get me wrong...I still throw up a bit each time I see this POS. haha
