i just got my first truck and its a 1999 2.5L Ford Ranger and i want a 3.0L v6 in there. Maybe oneday a 302. Would i have to change out the tranny rear axle drive shaft...etc.etc for a v6 swap? Is it also possiable to make a 2wd into a 4wd?

No one wants to swap in a 3.0L instead of the 4 banger. If your going to swap drop in the 5.0L

Skip the 3.0 and just go straight to a V8! Alot less work if you're doing it someday anyways.

you would have been much further ahead buying a ranger with the 3.0 or 4.0 in it along with 4x4 rather than buying the one you got and trying to swap all that stuff in it. its going to cost you way more than what you would have payed to get a truck with all of that in the first place.
