Poles running into the lock box.

I have a couple of side bars mounted on my truck. I kinda like them and will prolly use them to grab a hold of as well. I was wondering if it would look aight if i cut off one end and made a bracket to bolt into the lock box when i get it. WOuld that look aight or would that look stupid.

Not sure how to post pics so i cant give a pic yet i guess but its in my avatar. Just thought it would look neat. Let me know thanks.

Depending how you mount it to the lock box it could look pretty good. If it looked like it just went into the lock block nice and smooth that would be pretty slick.

i'd rather have my toolbox weatherproof then have one of those rails running into it and compromising it's integrity...

you will need something like the base in the bottom center here in this pic to support the bar on the box. otherwise it will just be supported on teh back of the bed and be lose up front

just silicone the 4 mount holes from each bracket
