4 Wheel disc

4 Wheel disc
Hey guys,
I’m on my 4th Ranger, a 2011 4dr Sport 4x2. This is the only year they put 4 wheel disc on as far as I know. Most of you are a lot more advanced than I am in mechanic stuff, but now that I’ve driven one with 4 wheel disc, I would do the conversion on an earlier model. The city driving in wet weather is noticibly better and no more flash rust drum lock ups, common on these trucks after driving through high water. Another big benefit is towing. I’m pulling a 2600 travel trailer without the trailer brakes connected and the truck stops it fine. We travel mostly flat (1-10 from Texas to Florida, but in the few hilly areas we’ve gone, it’s been no problem with fade. Would install the controller if we travel west of San Antonio, but for now we’re good.
I’ve read the rear can be converted to disc by harvesting the rear end parts from an Explorer. Have any of y’all done it?
