After a 4x4 trip yesterday I notice that my wheels squeek after disengaging the 4x4 system. Will squeek for about 20mins after a good 4x4 trip then it stops. I presume something needs lubricating - the vacuum locking system perhaps?

Anyone experienced this? your feedback will be most helpful.

Yeah my old one and current one do that, it was pretty annoying. It never really caused any trouble other than that.

 

mine did the same I took the auto locking hub off and cleaned it good and greased it doesn't do it any more
