When I get enough time off work to do it, and pick out rims. I'm waiting on the regear first. It should be rollin tall by January.

I got ya. You'll be there before me most likely, especially if we run into any major issues getting the motor to run *fingers crossed.* I'm going to try to enjoy all the other stuff for a little while, but knowing how I am, it won't take me long to get the itch to finish what I've already planned lol

I dont blame you. I know I'm getting tired of seeing my parts pile. I'm ready to have it installed.

Very nice. Did you buy a kit like Katskinz and have them installed, or did your upholsterer make them?

The upholsterer is a Katskinz dealer, so they used a kit. I'm really impressed with the quality and comfort of them, of course the only "testing" I did was done on the floor of my garage.

You'll hopefully get to do some real "testing" soon

Yep. I'm thinking about taking one of them down to the shop and putting it in the truck early just because I can't help myself lol

yeah, Katskinz makes great stuff. I'm getting the seats done in my car with their covers. Tons of options, too.

There are definitely a lot of options. What're you planning to go with?

I just wanted something simple and clean compared to the seat covers I had on the Ranger seats. The red stitching was just enough to make it custom to the truck.

I'm still on the original shocks so it's past time for an upgrade. Might as well do it now while I'm at it.

Not yet! Hopefully soon though. It kills me to see them in the garage without a Ranger to sit in. Those will be the first thing to go on the Ranger when it comes home

The guy at the shop called me this morning, and they're finally working on the truck at full speed. He's had a boat in the shop that turned out to take a lot more time than he anticipated due to an indecisive owner, but it's finally out of the way. He also called to tell me that he has a buyer lined up for my old transmission, which will do a nice job offsetting the costs of the swap. Still need to sell the motor and rear end though. If anyone wants any parts from either the Ranger or Explorer, let me know and we can work something out. Whatever is left is going to the JY if I don't have any buyers.

I was going to wait until everything came in to update y'all, but since Mike bumped the thread I'll go ahead and say it now... Torque Monsters have shipped, and should be here this week! Also coming this week is a new SCT X4 with 3 custom tunes from MPT and a new Alpine double din with a 7" touch screen, Sirius XM, and bluetooth among a ton of other features. Also talking with an old friend of mine about him installing a Viper alarm/remote start once the truck gets back home.

Lol I'm too impatient to let a project take a long time to finish. Heck, I already feel like this has been going on forever lol. I never had the money to do it while I was in school, but I landed an awesome job after I got out that gives me both the time and money to do something like this. This will be the last major build I do for awhile so I want to get as much done now as I can. The suspension build will come later

Next up on the mod list: double din FTW!

Pioneer AVH-X5700BHS featuring a 7" touch screen, Bluetooth, SIRIUS ready (bought the tuner as well), MirrorLink, Navigation ready (may or may not come later), dual camera inputs, DVD, HD Radio, Mixtrax, rear USB input, Pandora, 13-band EQ, and more. Picked it up as part of a nice bundle package on Sonic Electronix that included the satellite radio tuner for Cyber Monday.

Also doing some work on the intake this weekend. Hoping to have it done by Sunday evening. Pics to follow, of course.
