Icon2 1990 Project ranger

So I just bought a 1990 Ranger XLT. It has the 4x4 and the 2.3l V6. The only thing now is to deside what to do first. I am looking at getting a 8 inch syspenton lift. But i am not sure if i am going to half to get longer drive shafts. So if anyone wants to give some advise it would be awsome.

Cheers
Chris

That engine will be fine with correct gearing. No need to fix something that isn't broken.

When I lifted my '72 GMC I waited until I installed the lift and then measured for new ones.

What should i go to for gearing 4.10 /4.12. And i do plan on dropping in a 5.0 with in the next year. but that is a awsome price for a motor thaks cchsbuzz19.

Run a 6in lift and cut the fenders or a 6in lift and 3" body lift. That way you can stock drive shafts. If you have a 2 piece rear drive shaft, swap in a longer single piece one.
