Looks about right to me, to short of a chain can be a bad thing also....

Thats accually about where the stock engine was and no you want the chain as long as possible. With this much weight and power the chains tend to over heat and break/stretch when short. This is about a perfect length

Edit: All chains stretch, but if its too short it will stretch until it breaks

I got a house and am getting married so it has been sitting in my dads barn.

Right now I'm working on putting a V-twin in my quad. Its something I can do at home and is fairly cost effective for me at this time.
I am also very familar with it so its not as hard for me to keep up with.

I have been parting out 1.5 quads on ebay and I am selling the R1 engine so I can get some money to finish my quad as it is a little more practical to use on my land.

After that I want to get a trailer and just beat on my Jeep for a while and would like to stick all the suspension components under my Rhino. But I really need to get my own shop before tackling this.
