The time has come to make a change and I must part with my Ranger. I've been a member here for years, more of a lurker in the last few years due to other responsibilities that have taken me away from the Ranger enthusiast scene some.

I special ordered this truck, took delivery in April 2007 - so selling it is pretty tough. This was our first every special ordered vehicle and we took a lot of pride in it.

I am absoultely meticulous with my vehicles - this one is in fantastic shape. I had an '02 FX4 before this, so I know them well. In case any one is curious, I get about 18 mpg by short shifting around town - does pretty well. I've driven a manual trans for 15 years, no abuse on this truck. I have done my own vehicle maintenance for years as well and know Fords well - all maintenance logs are available including brands of supplies used.

Has ~27,500 miles but I drive about 40 per day with work, so it goes up each week. I'm in Richmond VA - for a really serious inquiry, I would drive it up to 100 miles for somebody, but prefer you come to Richmond. I can definitely provide current pics - I have all original documentation, including original window sticker (but I kind of prefer to hang on to it because it has my name on it, since it was a special order and all.....) Ask any questions you want.

Looking for $18000, pretty firm, but definitely willing to entertain serious offers.

 

Its tough selling a special order FX4 L2 isn't it? If this were happening in Jan of next year, I'd be all over it. Good Luck.
