More like 6-7 depending on where you go. Upwards of 10 if you go from one corner to the outer banks.

 

we went to kill devil hills from asheville but i dont remember how long it took

 

hmm... that's still small... bc, to drive from the west point to the east point, is 12 hours, and from the us/can border, to about half the way north, which is just south of the south most point of alaska, is 17 hours 1500 km
