Jimmi' Jammer's Gate Keeper
This thing is so simple but works really well. It took some good muscle to get it installed which makes me feel good that someone trying to take my tailgate would give up pretty quickly. My reason for buying was to prevent tail gate theft, and the pop n lock thing sucked **** so I had to find an alternative and this was it.

The picture of the install on their page differs from ours. We require a T-50 bit (supplied from manufacturer) and it bolts on to the bed under the tail light not to the tail gate. Can get pics if you like.

My tonneau cover overlaps my tailgate so if it is locked no one can steal my tailgate.
The jimmi jammer is a good idea but my tailgate is dented so it's not very desireable.
On my friends chevy, the pevious owner put a peice of stainless steel piping over that joint so it could not be stolen. We had no idea how he got it on there.
