Discount Tire Direct

So I am getting the wife new tires tomorrow and I bought them at Discount Tire. Tonight I was looking at Discount Tire Direct and after I paid the install fees at a local Discount Tire I would save almost $100.

Has anyone ever used Discount Tire Direct and is the the same as Discount tire?

Thanks,

Jake

I've used Discount Tire and they got me my tires for about $50 cheaper than anybody else AND they were delivered from Texas to Northern Virginia in 3 days. Quite impressive if I do say so myself.

I think DiscountTireDirect.com is supposed to have a bigger selection of products.

its made to compete with tirerack.com

but yea, order them online and have them scheduled to be put on at a local discount tire and youll come out cheaper. or if youre buying wheels AND tires, have them shipped to your house and put them on yourself. youll save a ton of money.

this is coming from someone who worked for discount for over 3 years. trust me, youre going the right way about it

Stupid URL's wouldnt work.

Discount Tire Direct - It would cost me $80 for install too. = $574

Discount Tire

I paid $669 out the door.

By my math I would save about $95.

Yup, I paid the same price for my KM2s delivered to my house as I would in store, I just saved the tax on the 1300 dollars or so.

So I got the tires. They priced matched what Discount Direct quoted.

The guy said at the store that they just started charging tax online so either way I would be charged tax. Not sure if that is true but, either way I saved about $100 on tires from what the original price was.

I am happy.

depends on your location if they charge tax. if they have any facilities in your state they charge tax.

glad you got some savings though!

I think Beard is right. All depends on if they have a facility in my area.

Shop around and find your best price on a tire and then call a Discount Tire store, they will match it or beat the price.
