i hear these tires are crap in the rain and snow?

 

they have no siping, so i can see that being a problem in those conditions. the tread is also a pretty hard compound, as why they have good mileage out of them.

pretty soon this style will be discontinued, once they release all sizes in the km2, they will become the only mud terrain you can buy from bfg.

 

Ive always had bfg mts they performed great in everything rain, sand, mud and hwy but i have no idea bout snow im in south tx but anyway i highly recommend them great tire with a long life

Not to threadjack, but how are these tires on the road in terms of noise?

 

they km2's are more quiet than the older km's.

 

love my BFG's, but im currently lookin for another set of tires (maxxis...) love the sound they make..

 

The sound is not loud at all. Also i have not had a problem with them in the rain and they work good in snow as long as the snow is not PACKED down but any tire i've had and drivin on packed down snow is **** so yea..

 

im very happy with mine. they work well in all conditions including snow, unless your being stupid. as for road noise its not that bad but you can deffinatley here them coming.

yea, deep snow a mud terrain is what you want there..

they're talking lighter stuff like on the roads im guessing

 

Any and all mud terrain tires suck in the rain. No sipping. I had my 32x11.50r15 BFG Mud's sipped....and i'll tell you now. I abso-freakin-lutely love these tires in the snow and rain. Sipped bfg's are sooooo much better than my old toyo all terrains w/ factory siping AND added tire shop siping. I heard bad things about hydroplaning with mudterrains....so i had mine sipped when i bought them.

MT/R's tear it up in the snow......the BFG M/T KM's tear it up as well, just not as good as the MT/R's.

My Pro-Comp M/Ts are slightly (factory) siped and I've never had any issues in the rain.

 

toyo m/t's are also siped. mud grapplers, hell even some boggers. i think bfg's are one of the only ones not siped.
