Wheelin w/ carnage at URE, What's 56k?
Just got back from Uwharrie. Went with a friend of mine and his son. Had a blast on some tough trails and only had a few problems. Lots of steep hill climbs and rocks. I was having some overheating problems and just about rolled the truck. What a great weekend!! Videos are still uploading.
This hill was crazy steep and washed out. I had a lot of trouble trying to get up it.
Overheating after giving the truck hell trying to get up that hill.
Bored waiting on the truck to cool down.

Boy high pile.
Back at it.
Back at the campground.
Never trust your emergency brake. We pulled up this very steep hill on Rocky Mount and came up on some big rocks. We got out to check them out and the truck takes off backwards.
It rolled atleast 200 ft backwards picking up speed the whole way. It bounced back and forth off the walls of the trail, just about rolled but it slammed in to the wall, and finally got jammed up against a tree and the side of the trail.
Talk about some scary ****. I thought my truck was done for. I've got some video of this but my navigator sucks and didn't get all of it going down the hill.
Tire marks almost 4 ft off the ground.
This is such a small dent compared to how bad it could've been. I was expecting the bed corners to be crunched and sides to be smashed in. We couldn't believe this is all that happened the way it was bouncing off the sides. Thank the Lord!!
Tire must have hit the bed here when the truck ran up the wall.
I wish this video did it justice. I don't know why but I chased the truck down the hill holding on to the bumper until it got too fast. Like I could have stopped it or something. lol Camera man=fail

Other than the fender I came out of it with a cracked bed side, dented up some undercarraige stuff, lost the bead on a tire, and busted something in the power steering. But all in all it could be much worse. I'm so glad that's all that happened.

Man I need to get a project 4x4 of some sort, I miss that place.
Have you been before? In what?
and btw please remove that snake pic.......
That was the meanest damn snake. We were just getting it away from the trail because it wouldn't move out of the way.

I really shouldn't have trusted it knowing that the brakes weren't the best and with that hill being so steep. But you better believe it was a lesson learned. I didn't get out of the truck the rest of weekend unless it was on level ground. lol
