I heard of 1 other person with this happening. They would not let the motor warm up, on top of stacked chips, intake, exhaust, and a little water in the intake...
Anyway, cummins don't have the problems you hear about 6.0's. Look over on powerstroke.org and see how many people have probs with the 6.0, they have a whole section dedicated to 6.0 problems. There are a few that have lawsuits with certain dealerships because they have came back to have it fixed so many times...
I'll take my 1 in 1,000 chance over 1 in 10 chance

VERY nice upgrade man! I'm glad to see another guy ditchin the Ranger for a coal roller! :)
I have mad respect for the Cummins engines, I just wish they werent stuck in a Dodge :(
I considered buying a truck similiar to mine, except a gasser, and dropping a Cummins engine and a new driveline in it. I'm happy with my Powerstroke though, I also like they way they sound compared to the Cummins's.
Anyways, nice upgrade! Can't wait to see it with 315's, etc.

Nice truck. Those stock radios are junk. I replaced a lot and repaired a lot for problems. Make sure you have the dashpad TSB done. It is a metal shield that holds up the firewall insulation from falling on the EGR cooler and starting on fire. Also watch those front u-joints they like to go bad often. Also make sure the computer has the most recent flash in it. There are a lot that came out in the last year and a half. If you don't keep flashing them the computer won't allow you to anymore and you have to replace it with a new unit. If you have any questions about it let me know, I use to work at a Chrysler dealership.

Nice truck, congratulations. Like alot of the other guys I cant stand that interior, or really chryslers in general, but that cummins does have a reputation. Also I would sell that tonneau asap while it still works. Two of my buddies had them on their 150's and they rust and corrode up and stop working altogether. It is sitting in our living room right now because he couldnt even use it.

Cummins FTW. I love the sound of a Cummins. Just like the others have said too bad its in the Dodge, though I dont mind the styling of the Dodge.
I am pretty happy with my 150 and pulling the ranger. So no need for a diesel. You make it sound like the 150 is horrible. LOL

Sorry to make it sound bad, not my intentions at all lol
Basically for me it was this...fully loaded 06 f150 lariat 4x4 screw with 27k miles for $26,900
Or...
SLT cummins manual mega cab with 26,100 miles for 29,900...not too much of a decision for me!!!
Anyways with the tonneau it was already stuck...they had to lube it since the rain had got to it, the previous owner left it and didn't even use it at all, just kept it covering the bed. I love the tonneau, I've had them before and never ever had a problem with t hem, they are rock solid, you can stand on them, and they retract easily...what more to ask for? The only complaint I have is that it digs into the tailgate, but a little linex can fix that...

I was told it will void your warranty if you pull it out. just to let you know.
Another thing, if you ever want to put a double din radio in you have to buy a whole new dash piece around the stock radio for it to bolt up. Sucks
