Clutch Safety Switch Engine Starting Problem

Have a 96 4 banger 2.3, manual, 338,000. miles still get about 25 mpg.
Here is the Problem, when I push the clutch in 90 times out of a 100 she starts, the other 10 times she does not. When I push down harder on the clutch (to the floor) she will start the 2nd time. A realize she is old, but just spent a crapload on a new tranny and clutch last year!
Any ideas on a way to kill the safety part of it, or a way to fix it. or just keep pounding the floorboard until it starts?

Look for a clutch switch jumper (its just a plastic plug that goes into the connector for you clutch switch that jumps all the connections). THese should be on just about any ranger or explorer that has an automatic (at least the late 90s). Just get one and disconnect your switch and plug that jumper into it.

If that solves your problems then its definitely a clutch pedal switch.
