EGR System

Can anyone offer any info on an 06-current 2.3L EGR setup? Where is the valve, ect? I have a P0400 code and the truck is idling very rough, I need to find it ASAP!

getting into a car accident does not void your drivetrain warranty at all.

where did you hear that?

It says clearly in the warentee manual that it's void if the title is ever labeled reconstructed, rebuilt or salvaged, I thought that automatically happened if you had a wreck and insurance got involved?

No, it's only labeled that if the insurance company totals it, and then it gets rebuilt.

I've been stressing this whole time... I guess I'll go see if it's still under warentee tomorrow.

they might not warranty it after seeing you changed the plugs that then caused the problem.

I would not be surprised at all if thats what happened. Since this is the OP's fault and not a factory failure sort of thing. I would put the stock plugs back in it and say the CEL just popped up.
