I have an '88 ranger with the underpowered 2.0l, 5-Speed. I found a 2.3l turbo engine from an SVO mustang at a salvage yard out here, I want to put it in my truck. I have a few questions. Will the transmission that is in my truck now work with the 2.3 engine from the mustang? I know I am going from carb to an injection system so I will need the harness and pcm. I also know I will need the chassis mounted fuel pump. I am very interested in gaining the 120hp, If anyone can lend some input it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
