would the head of a 1980's mustang 2.3L SVO fit onto a rangers 2.3 block, i am almost done a complete rebuilt to the ranger and just got offerd a mustang svo engine,

Yes. the 2.3 engines are all basically the same....only thing you need to worry about is if you're using a 95-up head because the intake manifold bolt patterns are different. Is the SVO engine complete? If so, turbo your truck!!

if you're getting the whole turbo motor....put it in

if you're getting just the head...its not worth it unless its been ported and polished and re-cammed.
