Air Shocks for SAS
am i missing something what is the draw backs to using these as compared to a leaf spring or coils???? seems to me alittle more of a straight forward swap compared to others, when going this route is it a necessity to link the front end ranther than just the control arms????? after seeing dangerranger01's truck my head has been hurting thinking about whether i want to do this or not.......

air shocks will fade on the street/high speed applications. i would not run them on a DD or street truck at all.
Air shocks are better for light weight applications. ie rear of truck. Some crawlers run them on the fronts because they are not driving them on the street and are going slow.
Coilovers are the best route IMO for most all applications because they are tuneable.
you only need the hoop over the engine if your side hoops are not strong enough to hold the weight/stress, many factors here.
yes you need to link it or run control arms with air shocks.
