air over shocks

wanting to bag my truck, if anyone has an edge ranger or has looked at an edge front end suspension, there is a shock runnin from the lower arm to an upper shock mount. so i wondering if i could use those air ride technologies shockwave or (air over shock if u wana call it)? an take off the torsion bars? it looks like it would jus fit right in wit no problem

I have not seen it done. My only question would be if the upper shock mount would support the weight of the front end. My guess is that it would not support the weight, but I am not sure. Maybe someone else on here has done it, or search the RPS forum.

The RCD lift kit uses the stock upper shock mount to support the weight of the vehicle with their coil overs, but gussets are a requirement. So, gusset the upper mount, slap a shockwave in there and tell us how it goes.
