If it wasn't for my warranty, I woulda paid at least 2K the first year of owning my truck. It spent more time in the dealership garage than it was on the road. Hence the reason I haven't done any major mods. Another 12K miles and the whole warranty will be gone, then the fun can really begin.

My truck went in a lot for warranty stuff... BL last weekend and I'm gonna take her back next week probably to see if I can squeeze some warranty out of them... Technically a BL shouldn't void a warranty but you change ANYTHING on a vehicle and most dealerships will claim voided warranty so they don't have to deal... I had my truck for a year before BL... warranty is half up now so I figure, screw it.... I'll let you know how it goes... haha

first off they had to replace 1 front shock and the one they ordered wasn't the same that I had so they ordered another one to replace the old one. Next time they had to re-seat my back window b/c it wasn't in all the way. I could stick my finger in the corner. Then I had a seal in the tranny leaking and had them replace the clutch at the same time. Then there was another leak but can't remember what it was. Few other small things I had to take it in for. Will be buying a new starter soon too.

good luck with that lol.

thats how i look at it also, the warranty will be up in a year or so if i keep putting as many miles on it as i am now.

got it with 7k in the beginning of june, as of now it has almost 17k miles.

lol ive been back and forth from vegas to reno a few times

and back home, when i work for my dads company, i was usually pulling a trailer from the very north end of vegas, where i literally live right by the mountains, to the very south end, by the mountains down there. if you know vegas, its a valley, thats quite a drive.

probably about 50-60 miles a day. i was doing that 4-5 days a week.

yikes.

well im definitley leaving california .... im most lilkely going to be living in phoenix, az from feb till may then im hoping i can head to either northern az, nv, or ut. Maybe even Co.

Northern NV / Tahoe isnt bad either .... its too bad this is a ****ty snow year as far as boarding goes, but get a mtn bike and thers great **** in the sierras ... hell ask those reno4x4 guys to take you with em to "snake lake ohv trail" near the sierra buttes ... DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS TRAIL IN YOUR ALMOST STOCK RANGER THOUGH.

but supposedly its gonna let down this weekend

and ill be sure to ask about that

been on some fun trails already, one called budweiser in the peavine ohv area, i started it in my ranger, barely made it about 100 ft, then parked my truck, and rode it out with my buddy in his fully built samurai rock crawler. crazy ****.
