5.5 camburg or fabtech question

with the 5.5 camburg kit or the fabtech 5.5 ultimate system installed will the coil springs be visible from the side (with the tire on obviously). I am deciding if I should just go with the 3" spindle lift and deaver leafs in the back. can some people post pics of their trucks that have the 5.5 lifts on them either camburg or fabtech!?! And post the Fabtech 3" spindle lifts. Man suspensions are hard to decide on....thanks for the info! I'm going for the look of a prerunner!

Go with the camburg suspension you won't regret it.

If you plan to use your suspension then get the camburg. If not theres not much sense in paying all that money for something you wont use.

Time to ***** my truck. Fabtech 5.5. I want to LT in the future. It's a good starting lift, but I would go with Camburg 5.5 and some deavers, You will get a lot more out of it and is a great entry level mid travel kit if you want to go to the dunes and whip around in the whoops. I wouldn't suggest jumping it though let a long travel kit handle that. And yes I can see the upper control arm and spring between the tire and fender gap.

Note this picture I have Skyjacker 6" Leaf Springs and Belltech Chevy drop shackle

This thread is probably dead, but on the off chance anyone ever looks at it again (4 years later), just wondering what size tires and what kind of rims you've got on that XLT. You and I have the same truck and I was planning some similar mods to mine.

Thanks.

i have fabtech 5.5 and love it. i have a 3.0L and i put the 4.0L fabtech coils on so its stiffer and i jump it all the time and reversed my shackles and its perfect so far till i get my long travel. my long travel kit is going to be fabtech im just going to cut them and extend them then box everything and throw on a coilover.

I have an HM 5.5 Kit on the front. Its not the same kit, but Id assume they look ideally the same. I have 33's on the front, and its still easy to see the coil-overs and shocks, so I'm pretty sure it would be the same with the others.
