BL'ing my FX4 Lvl II

Okay so i am going to lift the twin stick, but i got some questions:

and i have read and searched.

Here we go, so first off i am going to weld on an extension for my t-case stick.

I want to know if i will lose my front skid or if that will be okay?

Also I need a link for the cheapest site to buy it. I also wanna know about gap guards.

I found em on summit racing do they include the bed in the gap guard set?

?Also everything is included in the kit for the bl? such as all extensions?

Also I am going to spray the bolt with something to loosen them up.

Anything else i should look into or know?

Body lift is link 1. Shifter extension link 2. Gap guards link 3. Includes bed. Should just make your own.

I think you wastin your time on sprayin the bolts. Just heat them up till the tips are red and they'll come right out with an impact. bed bolts usually aren't that hard. Yeah just make your own gap guards. I wouldn't pay that much for them even if i did have the money, and as far as front skid your fine. Just put it back on before the bumper. i did it the other way and it was a lil bit of a pita because your lower valace will hit it a bit.

I dont know about the other parts, but I sprayed my one side of my trucks bolts, they came right out, but the other side was a PITA! Might have just been a coincidence, but I dont think so. I still run my lower skid plate, its just tight putting it back on. And usually when you take it off, get ready for some hammering, cause usually they are tweaked just enough you cant get all the bolts to align.

Yes. I just installed it on my 2002. The only problem was the fuel neck extension and vent line extension. But we picked up a replacement at the hardware store for less than $10.

Also spraying the bolts doesn't really help unless they're really rusted. Heat is the key because it melts the factory locktite which is the biggest pain in the rear. All my bolts came out relatively easy. Front driver's side bed bolt was the only one that gave us issues.

Yes that kit for 107. I just ordered one. Make your own gap guards. Be creative.

Front skid plate will be fine.

Summit has the cheapest kit right now. As for the gap gaurds make them out of black rubber floor matting which you can find at home depot and save yourself $70.

Not sure about the summit kit but the the performance accessoreis kit included everything but the manual transmisssion extension, and even with the extension it is a tight fit with the fx4 shifter bezel which is why i bought a hurst.
