Suspension Lift Questions

Will most likely go with a 3" Spindle...with the kit I can choose rear lift options...what would be the better choice: 2" Block Kit or the 2" Add-A-Leaf?

well if your gonna off road then use the add a leaf but if its just for looks go with some blocks (the add a leafs will stiffin the ride a little but will settle after a while then it will ride smooth) the ride will also be determinded by what kind of shocks you choose to use bilstien is a good choice

The kit I am looking at is by Fabtech and you can buy some front and rear shocks for $140...good deal? or should I go for a different brand?

adding blocks in the rear is a bad idea. youve already got 2 inch blocks in the rear factory (1.5 reg cab) to do 2 more inches is a 4 inch block total. thats crazy as far as axle hop goes. basically youre giving youre axle more leverage on your leaf springs, which will cause your wheel to "hop" under load, as well as damage your leaf springs and ring and pinion. the best way to go is an add a leaf. i used an explorer pro comp set 13120, its about $40, but if you use it, make sure you put hose clamps around any leaf thats not held by a factory clamp. on my truck, the add a leaf twisted out and slashed a tire. when i traded it in, the dealer took off the hose clamps, and the same thing happened to the poor guy who bought it from them.
