Skyjacker suspension lift questions!!!
I will soon be ordering the ( 6 inch suspension lift ) but when I do a search on skykackers web site there SEEMS to be a gazillion choices, can somebody point me out the exact link/product numbers that i need for my COMPLETE 6 INCH SUSPENSION LIFT?
I want to print it out and take it with me to the 4x4 specialty shop in my area so they can order it for me and install it.
Here is a link to all the choices for my year truck, by the way I have the ( 1996 super cab with the 4.0 and it happens to be a STX )
Product Search - Skyjacker
Also if my assumptions are correct if will NOT get any more ground clearance from the bottom of my differentials to the ground by installing this kit CORRECT?? So my question is if I buy 32 inch tires to replace my 31's wont that get me an extra 1 inch of ground clearance, also if I buy 16 inch rims to replace my 15 inch rims wont that ALSO get me an extra 1 inch of ground clearance from the bottom of my differentials to the ground?
I hope this is making sense. Thanks
I did a bit more searching and I am wondering if this is EXACTLY what I need to print out so they can order it??? ( Part Number 236RHKS-A )
Product Search - Skyjacker
WELL shiiit now I found this kit ( with shocks ) I really want to buy the COMPLETE package, basically everything I need from skyjacker at one time, except the 1 piece drive shaft which is another issue.

If you increase your tire size by 1 inch you increase your ground clearance by half an inch. 31 is the diameter and not the radius of the tire. If you increase the size of your wheel, you will not gain any ground clearance.
As for the skyjacker kits it really depends what stage kit your looking for. The higher the stage the better the kit with better articulation. Don't be in a rush and continue to do your research. Also try talking to the guys at your local off road shop. They install kits all day long, they are great for advice.

yea some kits come with rear leaf some come from blocks, some come with radius arms brackets to extended radius arms. i would try and find a kit that has rear leaf springs and extended radius arms. its going t cost the most and im thinking its a stage 2 or 3 kit.
i would get one craigslist and look around b4 you buy a brand new kit i found a very nice 6 inch lift with radius arms and leafs for around 800 a couple weeks ago but no money to buy it

Your going to want what i believe is the stage 3 kit. new leafs, new radius arms and fron suspension drop brackets. Im not sure if new shocks and new longer brakeluines are included or not. But do me a favor and PLEASE run something bigger than 32's. ive a 3 inch BL and 2 inch coils in the front and im running 33x12.5's with no rubbing.

I have figured out what the top of the line kit is WITH shocks, Turns out skyjacker has a new on line SHOP/STORE were you can buy the lift kit and they will ship it to your house and then you can bring it to the 4x4 shop of your choice.
Here is EXACTLY what I am buying and having shipped to my house, There will also be the steering stabilizer checked when I am ready to ad it to my cart and check out. It is an extra $66.99
