Front Suspension Lift Kit Questions

so im about to buy 2 inch coil spacers and 2.5 inch coil springs. right now its just stock hight riding on 28s haha. im wondering though if im going to need a new upper control arm because that ruffly 4.5 inch added in the front. also i might add some 1 inch shackles or something but i need to know if im going to need a new upper control arm and what brand is best. i have a 2008 single cab 2wd thanks guys

that will ride like absolute crap. id suggest doing a spindle lift.

i don't have spindles. i think your right though i might just end up sticking wight the 2.5 inch coils only

yep. im not too familiar with all the options so either someone else can chime in or google would probably lead you to which are the best spindles for the money

yeah i don't know 3 inch spindles for like $330 or 2.5 inch coils for $180. does anyone know the handling difference? or which one is easiest to install?

a spindle lift is the best affordable route to take on a 2wd ranger. They're not bad to install and there is info on the install on here somewhere. It'll ride way better than coil spacers and springs. The coil spacers are made from cheap aluminum most of the time and I've actually refused to install some on a persons truck a few years ago because of their quality lol

that price difference is absolutely nothing when you compare ride quality between the two.

the spindle lift will ride exactly like stock does

spindles are worth the money, ive got the wheelsnparts off ebay brand and a couple of buddies have them too, they ran me @250 , i also recently added a 2 inch spacer and it does ride like crap but its mainly for looks

alright i think ya'll convinced me to do spindles. any good brands out there that you guys really like or are they pretty much all the same
