I am getting one installed this week. I think they would be, at least for mine. Mine is like driving a battle tank. :-)

It wont make it any easier to turn the wheel (It will actually make it just a tiny bit harder) but it should keep the wheel from being jerked out of your hand if you hit something like a large rock. Other than that, it just masks problems such as unbalanced tires etc.

doubt it. all a steering stabilizer does is keep the steering from getting out of control pretty much. thats the basic gist of it. if it does help any i doubt it will be much of a difference if any at all.

If your steering is properly set up and maintained, there should be no reason for a steering dampener IMO.

uh.....maybe you're right. but I'm pretty positive that the intention of a steering stabilizer is to add damping to a steering system who's natural frequency for vibration is close to those seen when driving. IE: the old TTB f-150's needed them because hitting a little bump at certain speeds would cause an unnerving 'death wobble.' so basically the shock added to the system moves the frequency out of range.

not having power steering shouldn't really come into the picture here as far as i can tell.

oh well i kind of like the look of them too haha which i know is no reason to buy one but i also read that it helps with tire blowouts in the front so you dont fly off the road but idk just thought id ask for opinions
