I should probably do an add-a-leaf kit too, seeing how my truck just rolled 250k miles and is probably getting a little saggy. I'd rather do shackles though. Or both..

ight well i couldnt get it done b/c my buddy called me and gave me a deal i couldnt pass up on my tires. So i bought 33-12.5-16 Firestone Destination M/T and there sittin at firestone now waiting on my rims to get here. My mom got me the tires as a x-mas present, but she said as soon as i get the rims that i can go get them put on. ILY mom. lol But i treid to get it done and ran into a problem. The stock centering bolt will not come off. I can't get anything into the bottom of it to hold it still, i can spin the nut but the bottom is flush so nothing can grip it. If anyone has done an AAL let me know what you did to hold it still.

Better explanation. When i spin the nut it spins the bolt too and i can't grip the bolt head as theres nothing there to grip. It's not a screw driver or allen or anything, jus flat.

Those are the exact same ones that i used.
If ur talking about the stock center bolt... just whack it off with a hack saw.
remember they center bolts that come with the kit are purposely made way to long. this is so you can line up the leaves then comepress them with the bolt alone. I was dumb and cut the bolt to fit first then had to fight around with c-clamp to compress the springs. Needless to say the other side went much smoother. lol

You could drill a hole and use a reverse thread tap and run a bolt in your newly taped hole and remove the nut that way.
