Moving from 16s to 15s? Will they fit?

I have a 2006 ranger xlt which comes with stock alloy 16x7s. I wanna put 15x8 Mickey Thompson Sidebiters with 33x12.5 general grabbers on. Will the rims fit? I have rear drums and front disks. Not worried about the back just the front.

The only true way to know is test fit them but I have been told yes they will fit.

3 ⅝” or 4” BS.

ALWAYS test fit the rim even if you think they are the correct ones.
You could have received the wrong rims and once tires are mounted I don’t think you can return them.

I will be buying 15 x 8 x 4” BS soon along with 33 x 12.5 x 15 BFG ATs and I have faith if the bolt pattern is correct then the rims will fit.

basically all will fit with 4"bs or less.

33x12.50 km2s on classic IIs test fit before bodylift. Tires caught on front valance but everything else fit.

Nice lookin truck man! But you didn't have any trouble moving from 16s to 15s? What's the offset on those? And how far out do your tires stick out from your fenders?

Like they said - you will be fine as long as you watch the backspacing (which is always an issue - even staying with 16" wheels).

Only the rear disc brake guys (2010 & newer) run into issues with some of the 15" wheels rubbing - but they are talking about in the back.

Tons of Ranger guys run aftermarket 15" wheels without issue (Including me & about a million others - lol).

If I was a betting man...

They are 15"x8" wide with 3.625" backspacing (meaning a -22 mm offset).

classic 2's have 3.313" back spacing.

classic 3's have the 3.625 which is LAME! less poke

but to answer the original question, yes they will fit fine

15x8 classic 2's with 3.313" BS (my truck came stock with 16's)
