Results of my tire install

So, the 235/85/16 Duratracs went on fine and the tech said they look good.

The camber is non-adjustable from the factory (didn't know that), so I'll see how off the alignment is on the print out I get later today. He adjusted the toe, so that should be fine since I only lifted the front end about 1.5-2" with the torsion keys. Worst case, I buy new upper control arms and camber kits, install them and get it aligned again.

I had him look at the front pinion seal and he said that is may be a little more than just replacing the seal. Unfortunately, I'm not paying them 8-9 hours of labor to do it, so I'll wait until the Spring (keep it filled up, although I rarely drive the truck anyways) and bring it to the shop near my work and replace it all myself. With a full shop at my disposal, it'll get done. Rebuilt my dad's old '96 2WD Ranger rear end last summer at the shop, so I should be fine.

Other than that, I should be quite happy with the truck tonight. I will post pictures on the "What did you do to your truck" thread after I get it back and snap a few. Also going to be replacing all front brake components (other than calipers) as well as U-joints and rear diff fluid/cover in another week or so.....so more pictures to come

I like those on your truck. Looks great. I bet they'll really dig. I don't like my 31x10.5s, they suck up too much power in snow.

Thanks, all. Drove great yesterday, so now I'm waiting on the camber bolts. Hopefully I can slap them in Saturday and get it re-aligned Monday and be done with the wheels.

What does a 235/85 equal to? My 265/75 was 31.5 tall new and 10 wide. So those are 9.25 wide and about the same height?

Yea, I used a unit app and got it. For some reason I thought mine were narrower then what they are. It explains why I rub on my sway bar. Oh well! Lol
