Basically, the are 22"-26" rims that have 6 spokes of LED's. When spinning, these LED's blink in different colors to produce ANY IMAGE you load! Check them out.

I think they look pretty bad sitting still, but going down the road these look awesome.

 

I like the idea but i'll wait until they make them in a hubcap version for $30 at auto zone. $15,000 is more than my trucks worth. But if i was rich and didnt care id buy them.

I can see these on a rusted out Cutlas in the bronx and some poor welfare case behind the wheel.

 

Some may call it what they will... But I ordered a set for my F-350 to advertise for my business and judging by the reactions by all, the advertising money will be well spent. They may be dumb but I bet my life it will work

Due to family issues and work, I haven't gotten a chance to even log in much lest post anything in like 3 months, so when I saw these, I DID do a search for "pimpstars" (the name of the rims) as well as LED wheels and got NO results, and even browsing the "Wheels & tires" Forums I STILL don't see where the other post is, so I posted this.

Granted they're not for everybody, I don't like spinners or "dubs" myself, and I think they look like crap sitting still but I thought the idea and the video were pretty damn cool. Especially if you have a business vehicle all decked out in company colors, you can't tell me this wouldn't turn heads going down the road (imagine that Coke image on a coke delivery truck) and
heads turning = advertising. Of course, I can't afford to drop 15k on advertising for my business right now, but if you can more power to you. I think they're a different idea.

And while I do think that image is funny Karpe, you guys can back off. I've been a member longer than all but about 3 people who have posted so far in this thread. If the mods didn't want it in here, they would've deleted it, which is fine with me if they need to.

Edit: OK, found the post. In offtopic. Sorry, not going to go through and open every topic thats ever been started to see if what I'm asking has EVER been asked in anyway even though the "search" feature couldn't find it.

turning heads = higher chance of an accident.... wouldn't these fall into the same category as underbody neons and stuff like that? Last I head it was illegal to drive around with neon's here.
