2" body lift, anyone done it??

I have a buddy selling a 3" summit body lift with shifter extension for super cheap, but the thing is i need 1 more inch of clearance...ive got the 1" body now but 3" will look goofy, and i just bought new tires. i thought about cutting the blocks down to 2". the bumper brackets i can fab up so thats not a problem. i was wondering though what all parts out of the kit will i need? from looking at all the brackets it looks as i can cut an inch off of the ground strap extensions and drill a new hole. my question is about the steering linkage and the shifter extension...will the 3" work for 2" blocks?? also wat about the radiator lowering brackets? just cut an inch off and weld? im going to be doing an e-fan at the same time so could i get by without lowering the radiator??

You can fit 31's on just a 1" BL!??!!?? On a coilspring 2wd?!??

Typically people put on spindles or a 3" bl to fit 31's. Just do the 3". You must reallllly like the stuffed look.

just put the 3 inch body lift on. almost everyone on here has them and it looks fine. what your doing is more trouble than its worth in my opinion.

It will look great with the 3" and 31's. Just go for it. Don't go through all the trouble just for that.

I ran 31 SSRs on my stock 93 2wd with stock Jeep wheels. Very little rubbing.
