Just whip out those instructions....read 'em over. please.
What kit did you get? Summit or PA? PA instructions have pics which are nice to look at. I can probably email you them if you got the summit kit.

But only time you would use washers like that is to shim the bed... Which I need to do... And Shane needs to do too.
USING SHIMS! Not washers. lol. Shims designed for our use. Are places between the top of the frame and the bottom of the top half of the Jnut.
You people make my *** twitch

alrighty updaty time, regretfully removed the washers , "i was totally looking for a way to One Up you other BL guys!" removed the rear bumper , and noticed the new kit brackets are stamped the same way (like not right/left specific is this a problem?) I did read my crap instructions that came with the kit , summit bl kit, and saw stones excellent sticky. So i am armed with more knowledge than before.
My fuel extensions included in the kit were too big to fit the stock rubber filler/vent hoses , so i skateboarded down to home depot HAhah and got some things i think will do the trick. I am going to finish up the fuel dilemma tomorrow and see if i cant get the rear bumper on.
Gonna need a hand with the cab so i shall see what happens .

^ yup spent like 2.5 hours today "Fabing" that SOB in. i am bummed in my body lift endeavors, Summit sent me a wrong bumper bracket, i called em and their sending another, but i have a feeling they might mess it up again so i drilled out new holes, bumper is on but needs further adjustment , Had do torch and beat the crap out of the brackets with a harmer .

the notch\bend was the same as the bend for the pass side so , one bracket worked the other did not... i drilled out new holes but unfortunately i was not able to get it quite right and my bumper has a lien in it or in other words one side is higher than the other.
very frustrating !
i have two options.
A: wait and see if summit send another bracket piece with correct holes, and try again.
B: run what i got and weld the bracket into the correct spot.
btw bl is 95% i need to take off and bend my egr pipe, get more slack for my trans shift link and re attach all bumpers and find a way not to run my battery of side terminals, because the bat cable did not reach post lift.
thanks Jordan, for offering to help .

hmm i never unbolted the harness? < is that bad ? by harness you mean the main wiring harness, or something else. sorry for the dumb question.
That is a good plan thanks.
Unclip the battery cables at the back of the a/c compressor. That cleared up all my tightness issues of the positive battery cable.
