Body lift help/ hurry plz!
Look at the PA instructions...there's a wiring harness hold down on the block...it's in the instructions to unbolt it. Unbolt it, lift the truck, try and bolt it back up, if you can't, leave it. Instructions say it.
I did that, was unable to bolt it back up, left it hangin' there, and the battery cable was still pretty dang tight...so I broke the harness retainer behind the a/c compressor and that cured my issue.

the notch\bend was the same as the bend for the pass side so , one bracket worked the other did not... i drilled out new holes but unfortunately i was not able to get it quite right and my bumper has a lien in it or in other words one side is higher than the other.
very frustrating !
i have two options.
A: wait and see if summit send another bracket piece with correct holes, and try again.
B: run what i got and weld the bracket into the correct spot.

Stone...i'm callin' ya out....you are wrong. OP NEEEEDED to cut those holes. Sharp notch on top. Both pics are driver side. OP's correct. Summit evidently doesn't have that little notch that PA has. BAM! OWNED!
i have installed a summit kit bracket was the same as all the PA i have done...
once again wtf are you talking about...
Dont worry....
there's only one big notch on that summit bracket...PA there's one big one and one small one. idk. whatever.
Ory Muse's Summit BL came with two of the same bumper backets for his. Just so you know. 2nd guy to get two of the same brackets.

He stated he got two of the same brackets right in this thread, Stone! lol.
Yea...i'll mess with it someday.....pain in the *** bumper and hitch in same holes are holding me back from messin' with 'em.

still waiting on a correct bracket from summit...
But hear it is in all its done glory!

Looks good. bodylines are a little off...tighten the front of the bed down some more. Looks like bed alignment needs addressed, but it could just be the picture using flash...idk.
Glad it all finally got done.

a better day time pic,
summit sent me new umperbrackets that are correct! they really did a good job keeping me happy.I have not put them in so i still have a goofy back bumper.
i am really loving the bl stance. if anyone is on the fence if they should bl, i say do it!
you will not regret it even if it is a major pain with installation

I tried to drop the back piping on my catback, but the tubes were bonded to each other and i did not want to cut it off, instead i slanted the jba tip up and as you can see burned the tip for style points, i really like it!

And i put the night shade in !!!

thread jacking my own thread muhahahaha
