Too narrow?

I have a 2001 4.0 with a small t bar crank and heavy duty springs in the back, so about an inch of lift in the front and back. My question is if I put a 1 inch body lift and 285/75r16s on it, would it look too narrow? Right now it has 265s on it. I don't want to have to buy new wheels

My wheels have pretty much stock backspacing. I know people have done it, but it's hard to tell from pics how it looks in person. What are your opinions?

It already looks too narrow, I personally would just buy some ‘good quality’ wheel spacers and be done with it..... I ended up going with 2in spacers . Couldn’t be happier with them, had them for a few yrs now no issues.

I tried some 1.5" inch spacers but they made it rub really bad. What's your set up?

I used 2in spacers from B.O.R.A. Not cheap but well worth it....I currently am running 265-75-16 BFG A/T

Btw, I have a 2010 with prekey mod, and a 3in body lift on top......torsion keys were slightly cranked to level truck out, used a 3in block in rear, removed the 1in factory block and replaced to get pre 08’ factory height

Thx, it rides the same as before.....for the shocks I ran OEM length, I did some research and found the pre 08’ were calling for same part number shock as the newer rangers were..... I figured OEM length is fine as I was basically just raising truck up to the pre 08’ height....suspension wise. Overall I am happy with it, I do plan on running 33in tires once these are done for...I currently have 60k on these BFG AT , I figure probably next yr I will replace them...should be another 20k miles on them by then.... tires still have roughly 7/32 tread depth

Makes sense to me. Well, I want to take your advice and run some spacers but I'd need a 1 inch body lift and maybe have to crank the bars a little more since I rubbed the inner part of the wheel well the first time I tried spacers. I'll probably just leave it as is. I think the back end would look weird being an inch higher with the same size tires. Thanks for the help anyway
