Welcome to the forum
No, one one else has done that
Not a good swap
Just FYI, when you change engine size you also need to change the engine computer and its wiring harness, AND transmission that matches the new engine size
And a bit of wiring work, no plug and play for sure
Same work as swapping in a V8, which many have done
And you can just sell the Factory made 3.0l Ranger and buy a 2.5l Ranger, which is why no one has done that swap, or posted that they had done that swap

Same work as V8 swap, and no benefit that both are Rangers, putting in a Chevy S10 V6 would be the same work, i.e. engine, transmission, computer and wiring harness
And you can sell the 2.5l Ranger and buy a 3.0l or 4.0l Ranger, so Ford has already done all the work, this is why you won't find this type of swap being done
Ford never made a V8 Ranger, well never made them to sell, lol
You could turbo-charge the 2.5l, people have done that, not something Ford did with Rangers

Otherwise you'd have to entirely gut the truck and do a 100% swap, minus frame and body. Anything electrical would need changed over.
