2003 Ford Ranger 2.3L Lean Code Running Rich/ Battery Light
Hey all,
I have a weird one going on, both issues may be related, maybe they aren't. Picked up a 2003 Ford Ranger XL 2.3L a month ago for 400$. Needed a lot of work. Have all the kinks worked out except for the two underline problem children. I have a a Lean Code for bank one (being a 4 cylinder) this means all cylinders, ,AF readings are good, fixed all vacuum leaks (including the intake manifold being replaced) IAC is also new, Fuel Filter new, Air Filter new, TB has been cleaned out, O2 sensors are not skewed or stuck high/low, Plugs are new, gaped correctly, Dizzy appears to be new, fighting this awful lean code while it runs super rich, and when I mean rich i mean it smells like a 2 stroke dirt bike rich. Also took fuel samples for contamination/water as well as to make sure it was not e85 and all was good.
Along with that, may be related but not sure, I have a battery light that will not go out. Alternator tested good, battery is brad new, Tested fuses in fuse block, all are good, Battery never goes below 12v when vehicle is off, never below 14v when running
Any Ideas will help. related issues? separate?
