If you don't have one I would get a $15 Bluetooth OBD2 reader, like ELM327
These work with a smartphone as the display, android or apple, and are of course wireless, and APP is free or $5

You can watch "Live Data" on your phone while driving, carefully, lol
You can see what the Computer sees from each sensor
Like the CHT sensor, new or not, the computer bases "Choke mode" on this sensor, so cold engine driving

You can also see the Fuel Trims, if they go High when you lose power it could be fuel pressure is dropping for some reason

And these work on any vehicle sold in the US and Canada from 1996 and up, its the Law that all vehicles have to use OBD2 protocol, and still do
