Fuel Pressure Dropping

The vehicle is having sputtering issues while driving. I knew the cat was clogged so I replaced it. Sputtering issue continued. Replaced fuel pump and filter because I had a fuel pump for the longer wheelbase laying around doesn’t exactly fit in the tank I figured why not try it.

sputtering problem escalate to stalling problem.

Fuel pressure key on 50 psi
fuel pressure idling 60 psi

after a few minutes pressure drops engine stalls.

I ordered the correct fuel pump, do you think having the longer wheelbase pump is affecting the issue?

Either fuel pump is bad or you are losing power to the fuel pump

Unless the fuel pump's intake is above the level of gasoline in the tank it will work fine
So if you are above a 1/4 tank I can't see an issue, except on sharp corners, when the gas sloshes to one side, lol
