going without an intake

for about a week possibly, would this cause any problems?
sounds like a stupid question i know, but would it throw a code related to the MAF since that part wouldnt be on? lol

Its going to blow up!!!

Honestly, it doesn't sound like a good idea man. It'd probably throw a code without the MAF, and would probably run rough.

Umm... dont do it bud, you'll regret it the moment anythign decides to lodge itself in the engine... Why would you have to go intake-less for a week? Why not just keep the stock one on?

You'll be sucking in air that is unfiltered, unmetered, and 200 degrees. Nothing good can come of that.

if my truck is running and the MAF is pulled off, the engine cuts off. I dont think its such a good idea.

Ziptie a sock to your throttle body?

The only way to make your deal happen is to buy one from a wrecking yard and send it to him.

You could probably make a temperary intake out of a cheap fram air filter, cardboard, flexible ducting and lots of duct tape. It only has to work for a week.

Have the intake shipped USPS Priority. Every time I have used it, it gets there in 2 days.
