Honestly, it doesn't sound like a good idea man. It'd probably throw a code without the MAF, and would probably run rough.

 

Umm... dont do it bud, you'll regret it the moment anythign decides to lodge itself in the engine... Why would you have to go intake-less for a week? Why not just keep the stock one on?

You'll be sucking in air that is unfiltered, unmetered, and 200 degrees. Nothing good can come of that.

 

if my truck is running and the MAF is pulled off, the engine cuts off. I dont think its such a good idea.

hey smakes how much you willing to pay....I just bought a whole intake take and fuel filler hose for 25 bucks....

 

You could probably make a temperary intake out of a cheap fram air filter, cardboard, flexible ducting and lots of duct tape. It only has to work for a week.

Have the intake shipped USPS Priority. Every time I have used it, it gets there in 2 days.
