Rough idle and wants to stall out with acceleration
Hey guys so im new to the Forum and Ford vehicles in general . So i bought a 97 Ford Ranger 2.3l 2x4 pickup truck about 2 weeks ago .it has 265,xxx miles on it and i already knew it had problems but i needed a truck and it was cheap and i thought i can fix it easily ( dead wrong ) Codes i got were P0171 , P0351,P0141, P0122. As i drove it back home it would rough idle but drive . When i would reach a hill i would have to downshift and stay in 1st gear as it was the only gear that had "power" . At every light the truck seemed like it wanted to stall out . I get home and proceed to do what i always do on every used vehicle i purchase , changed the spark plugs, spark plugs wire, oil change , and in this instance coil packs and throttle position sensor because of the codes . After all said and done car runs a tad smoother but still rough and now doesnt even want to drive out of my driveway. so i then proceeded to do a more in depth " tune up " and changed the fuel pump , fuel filter , cleaned the MAF sensor and air temp control sensor , cleaned out the throttle body wich was disgusting , and while i was there i noticed the iacv had no spring action to it so i bought a new one and replaced it . Turned the truck back on and idled fine for about 30 mins then the rough idle came back and still has no power . Check engine came back and now have these codes , P0351 , P1506, P0141 . i checked for vacuum leaks , the 02 sensor past the catylitic converter has power going to it . also noticed a dent on the exhaust manifold while i was down there. Also found a loose plug that i dont know what it goes into . it travels next to the fuel line and the other line connects to the fuel rail and this one is just dangling around . possible culprit ? Code Reader also shows - Fuel System 1 Status OL- Fault ? will attach pictures shortly . Any help will be much appreciated . thanks
