2002 Rough idle, power loss, stalls...

Reaching out for a little help with trouble shooting my current issues.
Background on the truck: it is a custom build by a dealer down in SoCal... it's called a Thunderbolt. Nothing super fancy performance wise, just aftermarket exhaust and a K&N air filter. It's mostly the ground effects that make this ranger stand out. Automatic transmission. It's family owned, dad bought it new and then passed it down to me. No major running issues until now.
This all started with a check engine light that I ignored for a couple weeks, then all of a sudden the truck just stalls out while driving. Started back up, but with super rough idle and then stalled when I tried to put it in gear and move again. After work I was able to limp it home, stopped by a local parts store to use their code reader. I pulled a P0172 rich in fuel bank one, but no specific direction aside from a list of possible culprits relating to fuel air ratio. The first thing I did was clean the mass airflow sensor and my K&N air filter. This kinda helped, but not really. Code came back, same runability issues.
Working my way through the list I have replaced the EGR valve, TPS, IAC, PCV and the mass airflow sensor, but yet it still had a rough idle, loss of power and wanted to stall when coming to a stop while driving.
Most recently I replaced the plugs and wires, which was way passed due. The plugs were really bad, major carbon build up and the gap was way off. I thought this was it, the truck started up with a little hesitation and stumbled for a few but then evened out and idle fine. Drove it to work, felt great! However, on the drive home I suddenly lost power and it felt like the engine was not running on all cylinders-- started to sound like an old big bore truck. And this is where I am stuck. Oddly enough the check engine light has not come back on.
I have limited capabilities working in a standard garage with basic automotive repair tools. No compression gauge set, and no multimeter, but I may have a source to borrow specialty tools if needed. I'm super broke, but very capable of basic repairs (more if I had shop access).
Any ideas?

To clarify, you've got a 2002\Ranger\V6~4.0L~SOHC\5r55eTranny\2WD, stock excepting K&N AirFilter & CustomExhaust.
How many miles on truck, engine, tranny?
You need a OBD2Scanner; not practical troubleshooting in your driveway with scanner at PartsStore; their objective is to sell you parts.
You need a MultiMeter.
I use OBDLink#MX+ & EX modules with OBDLinkApp & ForScan; there are cheaper options using Generic ELM modules,
just make sure it reads both StandardSAE & ProprietraryFord data.
Without this, you're wasting money+time swapping parts, may be doing damage replacing good used parts with bad new parts.

Do OxygenSensors have >100kMiles\10years on them; if so they need to be renewed?

Have you Removed+Cleaned+OhmTested the CoilPack & made sure Plug Wires are not mixed up?

May have a vacuum leak, need to inspect\test all the Vac+PCV Hoses\Tubes.
PCV Elbow on the right side of the IntakeManifoldThroat is notorious for Cracks\Leaks.

Consider yourself lucky to have a "Standard Garage";
many are working on vehicles outside in extreme weather; just need the right basic tools.
