My 1994 2.3L Ranger has been stuttering when I go to neutral at a stop. Going at speed, all is smooth with engine. This has been going on for about a year. It is not my daily driver. Plugs looked great.
So, I mean the engine seems about to cut off and three times it did cut off but restarted fine and I tried to keep revs up when idling.
Today, I unplugged the PCV hose, left the PCV valve in the lower hose and plugged the upper hose that goes to manifold vacuum.
All is perfect now.
