PCV Hose

94 2.3l 2wd

Hello.
I was going to replace the PCV, was having trouble locating it, looking for it where all the pictures and videos I've seen show where it's suppose to be. Then I look toward the back of the engine and find it there, it's bottom clamped in a hose that goes forward. I thought that is much easier to get to, but.....

It has not the smaller hose attached. I cannot find it. I assume it's a vacuum line? Where does the other end of that smaller hose go?

Thanks.

The vacuum hose now connected is to the bigger barbed part. Any one know what goes to the smaller barbed part?

It would have helped if I actually examined the old one, it has the two hose ports also. The small port has a plug in it. The new one I bought has a plug attached between the two ports to be used for that reason if needed.

I tell you, working on this pickup has not been a boost for my self-esteem.

Sorry missed this on

Yes, replacement PCV valves often come with 2 ports and they should also come with a plug for smaller port, as it not needed on many engines
