transmission fixing!!

hey everyone i havent posted in a while because i have been working on my truck..well went over to my uncles house bright one morning in the week to replace a clutch. Thats what the mechaniacs at the three garages I went to said the problem was well we took a long task of getting and removing the old clutch and replacing it with the new one. Well we replace it and find out the real problem.. My transmission is messed up beyond belief.. now i would like to hear from my friends of ranger forums for your opinon on what i should do...just get it rebuilt or get a new one...the transmission has over 200,000 miles on it...lol thanks hope i get some good feedback!

I had my 88 rebuilt twice, first time it was the front input bearing, then it completly fried the gears, I eventually bought a reman one It was about 800$ but it was well worth it.

Whether you rebuild or buy new don't forget to replace the pilot shaft bushing/bearing. The #1 reason why main shaft front bearings wipe out.
