Is the 2.3 Ecoboost in the New Ranger the same engine as the 2.3 in the Bronco?

 

Yes, 2019 and up Rangers only have the one engine option, the 2.3l Ecoboost
New Bronco's have that same engine but optional 2.7l V6 Ecoboost is also available

The Ranger's engine does have different cams for better torque, Bronco's cams have better horsepower

and in 2025, the 2.3 changed to the mpc 2.3. so 24 and older have old style 2.3 with direct injection only and 25 on have the dual injection system to help keep the valves clean
