Hey gang,

I drive a 2wd 2002 Ford ranger 3L V6. Manual transmission. I finally got my unresponsive cruise control button issues fixed, only to discover that the Speed Control Servo is no longer functional.

The Mechanic said that this part is discontinued and they were not able to readily locate an aftermarket or salvaged part.

The Part No. Is 6L5Z9C735AA.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket replacement or have suggestions on where to source a functional salvaged one?

Any assistance would be welcome. I feel like I'm almost on the verge of finally having cruise control operational after nearly 13 years of not having it! 😅

Update: I found one on Ebay and may give it a shot. the parts numbers match up and it's only like $60. I'll give it a shot and report back later.

 

Update: the salvaged replacement part worked like a charm.
