I drive like the ole guy that I am, well in the truck. Really using the a/c hauling around my 4 yr old grandson with the outside temp over 100 every day the past week. Its unbearable - heat killed my battery, hoping Ford helps some with the cost of the new one purchased after Ford dealer was closed - truck has about 1 year left on factory warranty. Supposed to be a break tomorrow, only around 95.

About the same here, its miserable outside! No telling what the truck is getting with a/c blasting carrying the grandson around from toy store to toy store. On top of that the refrigerator in the house went out last night. You ever done comparison shopping for one with a 4 year old? Toy store, toy store, we are going to the toy store worked pretty well!

Too funny, you are right! Makes me think I must have a 4 cyl. under the hood compared to his mileage!

The 3.0's acceleration fooled me into thinking it was a 4cyl

Alright, I drove from Crestview, FL to Slidell, LA this past weekend and made 20.4 mpg @ 65mph and with A/C the whole time without my topper!

Then we went up to New Orleans (Bourban St. FTW) and gassed up again in Pensacola and got 19.4mpg mosty Highway @ 65mph with A/C the whole time.

I was shocked truck never used to do that good. Now driving it around city thats a different story Im prob around 15mpg and thats with a light foot.

Im getting like 200 miles to tank, 03 edge stepside, not sure about the tank size.. is this normal? I feel like my gas gauge goes down sooo fast! Its like $35 to fill it up, and I get 200 miles outa it and its $2.73 a gallon here so that means my tank is like 12 or 13 gallon tank? So 200 miles for that on a 3.0?

I get alittle more than 200 miles to a tank on 35's and stock gearing with a 17gallon tank I believe.
