1986 Ranger 2.9L 5psd -NEED PART #
So the kid before me stripped the top starter bolt and tried a hack job of a helicoil kit. Does anyone have a spare bellshousing for the 5speed or a part number I can order a new one? Thank you in Advance
If its a 2WD not a 4x4 then you have a TK-5(Toyo Kogyo 5) its part number was E57A-7003-DA
There would be no new bell housings but used may be available if you buy the whole transmission, it can be a bad transmission so you can get it cheap, but must be for 2.9l engine, most of these just got "junked"
Not familiar with this starter motor setup?
But would it be possible to drill thru the bell housing and use a bolt and nut to hold starter motor?
